Attempting to get past a resurgent Oranje

Suddenly Holland are the new favourites. Until their win over Italy, not many gave them a chance. Now they want more of the same against France.

Suddenly for the 2006 World Cup losing finalists in the form of France, a dull goalless draw against Romania got many to sit up and wondered what is going on. Not looking an inch of the favourites tag as they are among the ones tipped for the title. They need to wake up in order to survive a resurgent Dutch

Anyhow for Holland coach Marco van Basten, they have not won anything yet. For France coach Raymond Domenech, the fear factor can help motivate them. And he is not giving away much. For France's Willy Sagnol, France can still be a contender for the title.

On the team news front now. Holland got a boost when Arjen Robeen received a clean bill of health. The man, when he's on the pitch...watch out. For France, striker Thierry Henry could be back after starting at the bench against Romania.

A top-of-the-table clash in Berne? Hmm! You can guarantee for sure Berne will be awashed with the colour of orange (the colour of the Dutch royal family and Holland's home jerseys are in that colour as well).
